What Dwight Loves About Fly Fishing:
Dwight thrives on the challenge and problem-solving aspects of fly fishing. Whether it’s figuring out the best water to target, matching the right bug to the hatch, nailing the perfect boat placement, or executing the ideal cast and mend, Dwight’s passion lies in piecing it all together for a successful day on the water. The satisfaction of watching everything come together after careful consideration is what drives his love for the sport.
Favorite Time of Year:
Dwight’s fondest fishing memories are from early spring, particularly when the Skwala hatch kicks off. Despite the chilly weather, there’s something exhilarating about targeting these early-season bugs in rugged conditions.
Post-Fishing Tradition:
After a rewarding day on the river, Dwight enjoys kicking back with a cold beer at the ramp, reminiscing on the day’s catch, and sharing a few laughs with fellow anglers, especially if it involves the good vibes of the 5Ts.
